About Negin Mahestan Kangan
A polyethylene pioneer in South Pars
Negin Mahestan Kangan Petrochemical Co. was established in 2019 as a private joint-stock company to produce high-density and linear low-density polyethylene in Phase 2 of the Pars Special Economic Energy Zone.
The Pars-2 Kangan site lies in the central district of Kangan — Iran's economic capital — beside the country's largest gas and petrochemical industries, with easy access to feedstock, infrastructure, and both domestic and export markets.
Negin Mahestan Kangan Petrochemical Co. is one of the strategic projects of Iran's petrochemical industry, established to develop the oil and gas value chain, harness the vast feedstock capacity of the South Pars region, and produce high-value-added polymer products.
Located in the South Pars Special Economic Energy Zone in Kangan, Bushehr Province, this petrochemical complex focuses on producing High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) and Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE), playing a key role in completing the downstream petrochemical chain and supplying raw materials to domestic industries and international markets.
With an annual production capacity of approximately 300,000 tons of polyethylene products, NMK is one of the region's major development projects — designed to create added value from the country's gas resources, reduce raw commodity exports, and establish a strong presence in global petrochemical markets.

High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)
Negin Mahestan Kangan Petrochemical Co. produces High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) with high density, ordered crystalline structure, and superior mechanical strength. Due to its chemical resistance, dimensional stability, and long-term durability, HDPE is a primary material across infrastructure and manufacturing industries.
NMK's HDPE grades are designed for pressure pipes, industrial tanks and containers, engineering components, heavy-duty packaging, and automotive applications. Production is conducted in accordance with international standards, with continuous quality control and consistent technical properties.
Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE)
Negin Mahestan Kangan Petrochemical Co. produces Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) with controlled branching, high tensile properties, and suitable flexibility. This polymer achieves an optimal balance of processability, strength, and gauge uniformity in extrusion and film production processes.
NMK's LLDPE grades serve the packaging industry, industrial and agricultural films, polymer coatings, bags, and general industrial applications. Product quality is ensured through continuous technical monitoring and compliance with petrochemical industry requirements.
